One court just ruled that a deputy who saw a driver drift over the roadway’s center line one time and then made a wide right turn into a driveway did not have reasonable suspicion for a traffic stop. The court found that the deputy’s suspicion that the driver was DUI Driving Under the Influence was just a hunch and not reasonable suspicion. A Motion to Suppress was granted and the arrest and the evidence were tossed.
